Furniture-SafeHaven uses donated furniture for families in transitional housing as well as reselling it at their store to help provide more programs for families, large item pick up available.
Clothing-Freshly dry-cleaned business suits are used by clients when they apply for a job. They also take clothing for men, women, and children for all the clients in their many programs.
Baby Items-Baby wash, lotion & powder, diapers, baby wipes, baby bottles, nipples, & brushes, sippy cups, baby food & formula, Vaseline
Cars-You can donate a car through charity motors to help families surviving domestic violence. Check here for information.
Children’s Birthday Supplies-Birthday bags consisting of cake mix, frosting, candles, sprinkles, tubes of frosting, measuring instruments, plates, cups, napkins, and tablecloths will be used to celebrate children’s birthdays in the shelters.
Cleaning Supplies-A SafeHaven supporter and former client is collecting cleaning supplies for women who leave shelter and start new homes. The collection will provide items like laundry detergent, bleach, glass cleaner, kitchen bags, and more for each client in our transitional living program.
Food-Non-perishable food items and large can goods
Medications-Over the counter medicines of all types for adults and children
Toiletries-Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, feminine items, hair spray, make up, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste
